Bijzonder Gewoon is an exceptional lunch place. Their team largely consists of people with a disability, who create the distinct atmosphere the brand is known for. The unique initiative is loved by the local community and those from further places.

In need of visual material to communicate the essence of the brand, Bijzonder Gewoon asked IBI to produce a video that would capture that spirit.

In need of visual material to communicate the essence of the brand, Bijzonder Gewoon asked IBI to produce a video that would capture that spirit. Consultation from IBI led to the decision to produce versions for use on its website and social media channels.

The work

IBI produced a touching brand positioning video for Bijzonder Gewoon. The script was carefully crafted to build up to a welcoming greeting at the end, inviting the viewer to experience Bijzonder Gewoon themselves. Hours of material, showing authentic emotions, were cut down to this 1-minute clip.

A separate version was edited for use on the Bijzonder Gewoon website, where the video is used as a welcoming video that plays in the background.

The impact

The video quickly gained over 24,000 views, reaching far beyond the local community surrounding Bijzonder Gewoon. To this day, it is used as a visual introduction to the brand and what it stands for.
